Hardly any other form of vacation comes as close to the topic of sustainability as a holiday in the countryside. Where life takes place not in front of the TV, but outside the door. Where we are reminded that milk doesn’t come from the fridge. And where you can watch your bread ingredients grow.
LANDGRÜN stands for hosts and accommodations across Europe that pay special attention to sustainability and have been successfully tested against various criteria in the areas of INFORM – ARRIVAL – STAY – EATING & DRINKING – EXPERIENCING – DEPARTURE.
What we do.
We continuously work to improve our ecological footprint. Here are some examples of what we have already accomplished:
- Our residence was built using sustainable construction methods
- The entire facility is heated with renewable energy
- We use water from our certified in-house water source everywhere
- Electrical appliances are at least Class A, and we use LED lighting
- We use ecological cleaning products for cleaning the apartments and rooms
- Bedding and towels are washed with biodegradable products
- We avoid plastic-based shower and bath products in the accommodations
- We minimize packaging and only use regional products in our breakfast baskets
- NEW: Recently, our guest folder is also digital, easily accessible via a QR code
